Whether through her words or her designs, Duraiya enjoys guiding others through a fulfilling journey of self-discovery and self-expression. She currently spends her time writing and teaching English.

In her previous life, she practiced interior design in the K-12 education field for ten years. Duraiya has spent the last few years slowing down the pace of her life, solo traveling across the globe, and sharing her story through her writing.
